1. Acceptance of Terms
By participating in the Taste of Oregon Awards (including nominations, voting, attending events, or sponsoring), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not participate in or make use of the Awards platform.
2. Eligibility
Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Nominated businesses must operate within Oregon and be legally registered or recognized. Organizers reserve the right to verify eligibility and disqualify entries that do not meet requirements.
3. Nominations
Accepted only during the nomination period. Duplicate nominations may be merged. Self-nominations are allowed but reviewed equally. Organizers may refuse nominations with inappropriate, offensive, or misleading content.
4. Voting
Open to the public during the published period. Each person may vote only as permitted. Fraudulent activity or bots will result in disqualification. Organizers may remove suspicious votes.
5. Determination of Winners
Winners are determined by public votes and committee review. In case of tie, co-winners may be declared or a panel will decide. Committee decisions are final.
6. Winner Recognition
Winners will be announced on the website and Awards event, and may be featured in press, marketing, and social. “Plaques are not shipped free of charge. Winners must purchase an official Taste of Oregon Awards plaque if they wish to display one. Pricing and order details will be provided via email.”
7. Use of Winner Name & Likeness
By accepting recognition, winners grant the Awards the right to use their business name, logo, and likeness in promotional materials. Winners may promote their achievement but must use official branding from the Awards.
8. Sponsorships
Packages are outlined on the website and confirmed upon payment. Fees are non-refundable. Sponsors must provide approved logos and ads by deadlines; organizers may reject non-compliant content.
9. Intellectual Property
All logos and event materials are the property of the Awards. Approved logos may be used only by winners and sponsors, in the form provided.
10. Event & Program Changes
Organizers may modify categories, dates, or details at any time, including postponement, cancellation, or virtual transition due to circumstances.
11. Limitation of Liability
The Awards are provided as is. Organizers are not liable for technical, communication, or participation issues. Liability is limited per Oregon law.
12. Disputes
All disputes will be resolved solely at the committee’s discretion. Decisions are final and binding.
